Last year this time we had the wonderful opportunity to attend the 2013 Oscars (aka The Academy Awards) in Hollywood as media, and it was an awe-inspiring experience. We are forever thankful to God for the fateful meeting with FGW Productions CEO Stephanie Frederic during a layover in Charlotte, NC. We are also forever grateful for her words of encouragement from afar, whether by text, social media messaging, or late night phone calls, to hone our skills and conduct our business professionally.
We have found the value in not only our limited production experience, but also in the value of our faith. It was shortly after our trip that Rhonda took ill and it was later discovered she had cancer. Through the grace of God and comforting words and prayers from family and friends, including Stephanie, Rhonda amazed doctor's with her upbeat attitude and quick recovery, and is surpassing 6 months in remission. Thanks be to God!! For many people, the opportunity to be at the Oscars is the icing on the cake, and their life is complete. But to the Washington twins, it's just the beginning and God is setting us up for the purposeful life He has planned for us. The best is yet to come!!
