Travel Tuesdays: Sea Captain's House Restaurant in Myrtle Beach, SC

A few days before Christmas, we had the opportunity to catch up with a high school friend during a short vacation in Myrtle Beach.  We met at the Sea Captain's House Restaurant that her husband, a chef, has worked at for more than 25+ years.  The atmosphere was homie as we settled into the "Blue Room" and discussed what we've been up to for the last 20 years.

The lunch menu was extensive and included soups, salads, sandwiches, and traditional seafood platters.  We settled on the following dishes:

Rhonda:  Shrimp and Fruit Salad

Sharee:  Avocado Sea Fare
Chilled boiled shrimp and sweet lump crab, Avocado, Tomatoes and Remoulade Sauce

Voted Myrtle Beach's Best Seafood Restaurant for multiple years in a row, this small cottage beachfront property has a 50+ year history and a dining experience like no other.   No visit to Myrtle Beach is complete without a visit to the Sea Captain's House Restaurant.  It is located at 3002 N Ocean Blvd, Myrtle Beach, SC.
