Travel Tuesdays: Storm Pax Brought Ice/Snow to the South

The lovely snow view during our neighborhood walk.
For the second time in two weeks the South had snow. However, this time it brought lots of ice in addition to the snow. Thousands of airport delays and hundreds of thousands of people without lights across GA, SC, and NC. The hardest hit areas included Augusta, GA/Aiken, SC and Orangeburg County in SC.  Last Travel Tuesday we showed pictures of our walk in our neighborhood from Storm Leon.

Come take another walk and enjoy the pictures from Storm Pax.
The tree in front of our house buckled
under the heaviness of the ice

We saw a few footpaths in the snow during our walk.

The ice brought down the tree branches

What did you do during Storm Pax?

Travel Tuesdays: Snow in the South

Snow covered neighborhood Clubhouse
When this post is viewed, we'll be on our second major threat of wintry mix weather. These pictures are from our first major storm in late January.  It's not often we get snow in South Carolina.

Travel Tuesdays: Oh Canada!!

Window view of Quebec City from Levis, Quebec
The initial idea of going to Canada was brought about via a desire to go to an international location that wasn't too far away and in the same time zone.  The other part of the travel experience, was to host a career mentoring retreat.  We had a few initial interest but they fell through.  However, we had already made our travel plans.  Thereby, we used the time to conduct our annual business meeting.  Our 4-day agenda covered production contracts, new services rate card,  marketing materials, and an updated streamlined website to hosts our videos and blogs.

But enough about business. You wanted to see pictures of Quebec City, and Levis, Quebec, Canada and the SNOW!!  It was a true white-out experience.
