We had the opportunity to sit in on a presentation hosted by Grace United Methodist Church in Columbia, SC on October 23.  Stephanie Bredesen shared information about the international missionary work in Uganda, Africa that she, alongside her husband Stephen (in Africa at the time of the presentation), have been completing over the last 3 years including constructing a school, operating a health care facility (maternity, disbursement of AIDS/HIV medication, removal of jiggers, etc), and spreading the Gospel of Jesus.
Nakalanda is the village in Uganda where Rev. Stephen and Stephanie Bredesen are ministering with Eagle's Nest Ministries. The goal is to minister the love of God in Jesus Christ to the bodies, minds, and spirits of the people in the area.

The Bredesens were led to Uganda in 2010 and never looked back.  Pastor Stephen left his ministry in the United States to go in the direction where he felt God was leading him, and as a devoted wife, Stephanie followed suit.  This month, Stephanie's architect brother and his wife are moving to Nakalanda to build Stephanie and Stephen a new home, and to assist with the additional construction work needed in the village.

If you would like to donate money to the Bredesens, you can mail it to Mission Ministries, Inc., P O Box 6546, Santa Ana, CA 92706. Please put “Bredesen Support” on the Memo line of the check. If you want to follow the progress of the project, you can look up Nakalanda Project on Facebook for the most recent information. Steve also sends out a newsletter on e-mail, and people can sign up for that. Stephanie’s e-mail address is angelhair.21@hotmail.com and Steve’s is revbred@hotmail.com. They would be happy to add anyone to their e-mail list who is interested.
